How to import Qlik Sense Extensions
Qlik Sense Extensions can be added directly to PlatformManager from every Qlik Sense server. Extensions also can also be added to PlatformManager by loading a zip file. During the import of a Qlik Sense app, PlatformManager checks if extensions used in that app are available in PlatformManager. If that’s not the case, the app won’t be imported into PlatformManager. That means there’s an active check to prevent mistakes from missing extensions.
Check, check double check
Check which apps are affected when a new version is introduced and with just 1 click PlatformManager provides insight into the use of extensions and takes care of the roll-out to the Production environment. An extra check during the promotion prevents apps from using an extension that is not present in Qlik Sense.
Insight in versions
Change the Extensions in Development, test them in UAT and publish them to Production. Independent of each other. Check which apps are affected when a new version is introduced and see which version is in which environment with 1 click.
Check Impact
When a new version of the extension becomes available, you want to check the impact. Which apps are affected by this change? PlatformManager shows which apps use which extensions and vice versa.

Yes! Besides support for QlikView and Qlik Sense on-premise or private cloud implementations, Qlik Cloud is also supported starting version 5 of PlatformManager. Both hybrid implementations and full cloud are supported. You will need a specific license key to enable you to use the Qlik Cloud platform with PlatformManager. Visit our Support portal for the latest version.
