We’re happy to share the newest updates in PlatformManager! These new features make things easier, improve how it works with other tools, and help you work faster. Here is what’s new.
Windows and Azure AD support
PlatformManager now works better with Windows Active Directory (AD) dynamic groups. This makes it simpler to manage user access. AD groups used in PlatformManager will sync automatically. This means when someone leaves your company, they are automatically removed from PlatformManager. New users are added right away too. This saves time and keeps your user list up-to-date.
Better job handling
If a job fails, it can be annoying. Now, PlatformManager makes fixing it easier. If a job fails because of a database problem or an issue with a BI server, you can quickly try again. Go to the job overview, find the failed jobs, and restart the one with the problem. Your settings are saved, so you don’t have to set it up again. This saves time and makes fixing problems easier.
Flexible data extraction for Qlik Sense
We’ve also made data extraction for Qlik Sense more flexible. Now, you can delay data extraction if needed. This means you don’t have to wait for the process to finish before promoting an item. It’s useful when you need to quickly share a new version with your business users. This makes your work faster and gets updates to users quickly.
Stay ahead with PlatformManager
We believe these updates will make PlatformManager better by saving time, improving connections, and making things easier. Whether you’re managing user access, fixing jobs, or sharing updates, PlatformManager helps you work better.
